![]() ![]() In the manual it says that the DRAM LED should be on when a ram dim isn't inserted. It's a new build so, it's a first time boot even though it could go directly to Windows if I plugged my ssd to it.Įdit: Forgot to say that I tried using that MemOK! thing and I read the manual before asking here. No signal, no video, nothing but fans spinning with CPU led. (6 pages) Coffee Maker La Cimbali M39 GT HD Dosatron Engineers Manual. I tried reseating ram, cpu, out of the case, with little to nothing connected to it, switched ram sticks around but yeah. Along the edge of the motherboard we see power, reset and clear CMOS buttons a nice addition for such an affordable motherboard. If your CPU fan connection is not correct or it has malfunctioned, it will cause that LED to glow red. I am getting no dram led light or even signal from it, I have my CPU led red, the boot device led isn't working either. The red light doesnt mean that your computer is broken. Normally, people that had a problem with the DRAM led was something like: Always red, flashing, etc. So my real problem now is pretty wierd from what I've seen. I had planned to keep 8GB adata ram dim and my HDD from my last computer. I bought computer parts to make myself a new rig. This means that your system may not be able to detect the connection to your HDD or SSD connection. Even though this red light is typically shown in BOOT indicator, sometimes, the CPU LED can also notify the issue. Im at a lose at what to do here and any advice would be appreciated. Sometimes, the motherboard might detect a problem on the storage drives and flash a red LED to indicate the problem. I hold down the BIOSFLBK button for at least 10 seconds, but the FLBKLED doesnt start blinking. ++EDIT: Have used USB BIOS Flashback to update the BIOS to 1304 (5th August), and tried it without the GPU. While the motherboard powers up and goes to its predictable qcode of 00 and a red cpu led and no beeps :/. Does it look like I've been exceptionally unlucky and got a dud CPU/motherboard? Or could it be something else? I seem to remember reading that the Z87-Pro had issues with Noctua coolers, where they span too slow and it triggered a "CPU fan failed" error and needed a BIOS update.? Any ideas gratefully received. ![]() There's no signal to the monitor, either from the GPU or the iGPU. If i shut down the pc the processor cpu led red light might or might not go solid red and the system won't boot. SOLVED: Asus Z87-A: DRAM, CPU, VGA and BOOT DEVICE leds flash upon boot I've replaced my case fan and moved some cables around to get a better airflow in my case. Of the status LEDs on the motherboard, the DRAM LED is lit green, the CPU LED is lit red, and the GPU/Boot Device LEDs are off. I just finished putting my system together and it boot and everything but im having a problem with the cpu led red light on my asus z87i dexlue and i5 4670k, my psu is a corsair tx 750w. Looking at the motherboard, the debug panel reads "00", which according to the manual is not used. After a few seconds delay, everything started spinning again (as though it has reset itself). When I powered it on for the first time, the fans span briefly (pulsed), and then stopped. Hi guys, I finally got 'round to upgrading (aged) my PC, and it all went well until I poked the power button.
